i hope you all enjoyed the pics of the house; chad and i are so blessed to know that it belongs to someone else and not us. the pressure is finally off, and we can finally breathe.

this past weekend chad and i went to wilmington for a wedding and to see marsha and roman. speaking more so for chad, it was a strange feeling to walk back into his granny and grandaddy's house, and to see a remodeling in the works; marsha is doing a great job. we stayed up late discussing plans and ideas for a fresh new contemporary look to the 60s split level floor plan. there will be a lot of paint involved, and a serious kitchen renovation. as you can see the appliances have been in the house sinse it was built. i told marsha i would gladly take that oven off her hands; chad and i could do something fun with that retro piece of junk. in between conversation we got to enjoy watching junior and dixie play together, enjoying the reunion of brother and sister. the wedding was beautiful, and as usual it was a delight to spend time with some of chads old friends; i always enjoy reminecing on the days when chad was a rap star.
