ah, road trips; at least the dogs can enjoy them

went to corolla to burn off some pre-christmas calories; what a perfect time to go--no tourists

christmas obx style:

skeeter wanted to play in the snow and was not very cooperative for this picture, but he sure had some fun in the snow later

this is the puss's first experience one on one with the snow; it was a bit scary for him

we thought it would be nice to get out in the 33 degree weather today and enjoy a five mile hike before the sleeting rain and snow that was due this afternoon...it sure was fun though; we had the trail all to ourselves

it was nice to see this meadow after being in the woods for over an hour

some new, old pics i came across...this is when reynolds came up to get his trees

not quite the beach, but not bad...

saturday, chad and i did a nice little six mile day hike on the appalachian trail; this water is watauga lake, which gave the dogs a great place to stop for a lil swim
