july 4th

we thought we would start our 4th off with a little 8 mile hike; chad and i have never seen such amazing views and an awesome shelter spot along the AT. we will definitely be back here for an overnight trip.
















here is a shelter where campers can stay along the trail; it is a two-story old barn with plenty of room...it is pretty cool inside.

this is actually the 5th of july, and dont worry, we saw better fireworks than this, we just didnt get any shots--we actually saw great fireworks two nights in a row, we just decided to have our own party afterwards...

for those of you who have never been to our church (which is most of you), this is it. in the following pics, this group of people is our outdoor adventure small group; as you can see we all have a lot of fun together!






unfortunately, we did not get a very clear day, but it was still worth it
